St. Elizabeth and St. Philip Neri Churches
Elizabethtown and Westport, New York
Rev. Peter R. Riani, Pastor
(Residence: Elizabethtown)
There is a photo of one of the opalescent stained glass windows in St. Philip Neri church on our website. This is one of the two windows that are in dire need of restoration. They barely survived the fire that destroyed the church in 1980 and the new church, opened in 1983, was built around them. However, the building has shifted and the remounting was not done well so that they both need restoration and remounting. We have four payments of $12,000 each to complete the project, the first of which has been met. We would like to invite visitors to the website to contribute toward the restoration and remounting of these priceless windows. Checks may be sent to:

Mission StatementRooted in the Word of God, nourished and strengthened by the Sacraments and guided by the Holy Spirit, we the people of St. Elizabeth and St. Philip Neri Roman Catholic Communities are committed to our desire to grow together in love, promote Christian values, social justice, stronger families and to grow ever stronger in our relationship to Jesus. We wish to do this always in union with our Holy Father and with the Bishop of the Diocese of Ogdensburg under whose jurisdiction we fall. |
